The Boiler Room (Act As If…)

The Boiler Room is one of the most quotable movies I’ve seen. It’s the modern day version of Glengarry Glen Ross and, if you’re in sales or marketing, you’ll love this movie. Watch this clip to see what I’m talking about.

Pirates Of The Silicon Valley (Make People Need You)

Pirates of The Silicon Valley is a little known movie that tells the story of how Apple Computers and Microsoft began. It also gives incredible insight into the relationship between Steve Jobs and Bills Gates. Definitely worth a watch if you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or tech nerd!

Moneyball (Moving Scene)

Admittedly this clip deals a bit less with “sales” than the other clips. Nonetheless, here’s a touching clip from the movie Moneyball starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill.

Good Will Hunting (Bar Scene)

Good Will Hunting is one of my favorite movies of all time. Matt Damon stars as a janitor who also happens to be a prodigy when it comes to math. Here’s a great clip and one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

Rounders (Intense Poker Hand)

Rounders is one of the greatest poker movies ever made. If you’re a “Texas Hold ‘em” fan or love the action that comes with a high stakes poker game, watch this movie. At the bare minimum though, watch this clip.

300 (Call To Battle)

If you like a rousing speech before an epic battle you’ll enjoy this clip. If this speech doesn’t pump you up, I don’t know what will.

Braveheart (In Defiance of…)

Sure Mel Gibson may be a little crazy yet but you can’t deny how good he was in the movie Braveheart. Here’s the epic speech William Wallace gives to his fellow country men where he talks about the promise of Freedom.

Any Given Sunday (Inches Speech)

Al Pacino is an amazing actor and this clip is proves just that. Here he delivers a heartfelt and inspiring halftime speech to a locker room that seems to have lost all hope…

Glengarry Glen Ross (Always Be Closing)

Well…there’s not much to say about this one! ABC = Always Be Closing. This has got to be one of the most epic sales scenes of all time!

Pursuit of Happyness (Cold Calling)

Will Smith delivers an incredible performance in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. Here’s a “cold calling sequence” which sheds some light on the grinding nature of “cold calling.” Epic movie and Epic Clip.

Mad Men (Sales Pitch)

Simply put, Don Draper is THE MAN. In this clip you can see Don jump into action as he straight talks a client. His no bullshit approach is captivating. If you don’t watch Mad Men I only have one thing to say to you…what are you waiting for?

Boiler Room (First Sale)

Another awesome clip from the Boiler Room…yes the movie is that good. If you work in telephone sales or just want to see an awesome smooth talker close a sale, watch this clip.

BONUS CLIP

Here’s a bonus clip from the Boiler Room. Enjoy.
